I/O Error Code is Generated on the S2000 Storage System Due to Loose Connection of the SAS

Issue Description
The SAS host port of the S2000 storage system is connected to the SAS switch board of the T8000 server, and the storage system is properly configured. However, during the operation of the storage system, I/O error code appears in the OSM statistics.
Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
When error code appears on the OSM, the software configuration is troubleshot first. However, the error code persists, and then the storage system and the server are powered off and the SAS connection in between is checked. The result shows that the SAS cable is loosely plugged in to the connection port on the server. After the SAS cable is re-plugged into the connection port and fixed by captive screws, the storage device and the server are powered on, and no I/O error code appears.
Root Cause
The SAS cable is loosely plugged in to the SAS host port of the S2100 or the relevant physical port of the T8000, causing unstable signals.
Suggestions
If the T-shaped connector of a SAS cable is loosely plugged in to a port, I/O error code is generated. Therefore, during deployment and maintenance, confirm that the SAS cable is properly connected and its connectors are fixed by captive screws.
