Alarm Information
Handling Process
If system didn’t install SQL Server database, SQL Server database would install in the installation of VSM.
If system installed SQL Server database, it would ask you whether reuse the database in the installation of VSM. You could choose that reuse database to save the time of SQL Server database installation. Or you chose that didn’t reuse and reinstall SQL Server database.
Notice: we advise that don’t reuse the database.

1. Ask the administrator to know whether SQL Server is installed.
2. Checked whether the directory or file of software exists. For example: the default installation directory of version V100R002 is “C:\MSSQL2000”, and the version V100R003C00 is “C:\MSSQL2008”。
3. Started up the SQL Server database, start> programs> Microsoft SQL Server> service manager.
4. Checked whether SQL Server database sort the database by binary.
In window “cmd”, execute the command as follow:
C:\> isql -Usa –Psa (user’s passport) -S127.0.0.1
1> sp_helpsort
2> go
And screen prints the information like this:
Server default collation

Chinese-PRC, binary sort

If the information included binary sort, it means database are sorted by binary. If not, it means database are not sorted by binary.
