Case of different trap source address causing alarm malfunction

Issue Description
Some client’s VSM main topology chart has been established, shutdown one of the operating port of S9306, and find out that there is no equipment alarm.

Handling Process
1. Check VSM server state and configuration, find out that there is no problem.
2. Check S9306's configration, find that the vlan if address of the source access set by snmp-agent trap source is not the same with this S9306's equipment address found on the VSM equipment.
3. Change source interface configuration of snmp-agent trap source, make its corresponding IP the same with the IP address found on VSM.
Root Cause
The trap source address set on the S9306 is not the same with the IP address found out on the VSM.
Suggestions
When we set VSM alarm, we need to set the out trap interface on the equipment, this interface's corresponding vlanif address is the IP address first found by web manager, we can check it on topology and equipment property.
