Issue Description
The environment is free from smoke, but the smoke detector generates a continuous alarm, what should be done?
Solution
Possible Causes:
1) The smoke detector is faulty, for example, the internal circuit is faulty.
2) The circuit is abnormal.

Procedure:

Step 1 Check whether the smoke detector is faulty.

Where there is no smoke, use a multimeter to measure the normally open (NO) and common terminals (base terminals NO and COM) and check whether the multimeter generates a beep sound.

Y: If the multimeter generates a beep sound, the smoke detector is faulty. Replace the smoke detector and check whether the fault persists.
If the fault is rectified, troubleshooting is complete.
If the fault persists, go to Step 2.
N: If no beep sound is generated, and the smoke detector is normal. If the fault persists, go to Step 2.

Step 2 Check whether the smoke detector is connected to the base and skylight ceiling controller properly.

Use a multimeter to check the smoke detector for short circuits or disconnection section by section.

Y: If the circuit is faulty, replace the circuit and check whether the fault persists.
Y: If the fault is rectified, troubleshooting is complete.
N: If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.
N: If the circuit is normal but the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.
