 Shutting Down the System Securely ( Installed before NetEco )
Solution
Context:
Before shutting down a server, disable the database software.

Procedure:

1) logged in to the server as user root.Right-click on the desktop and choose Open Terminal to open the command-line interface (CLI).

2) Shut down the MySQL database.

Run the following command on the CLI and check whether the database is running:
# su - mysql
> /etc/init.d/mysql status
MySQL running (3917)                                                  done

If the preceding information is displayed, the database is running. Run the following command to shut down the database. If the preceding information is not displayed, go to 3).

> /etc/init.d/mysql stop
Shutting down MySQL.                                                  done

3) Run the following command on the CLI to return to the root user and shut down the server:

> exit
# sync; sync; sync; sync; sync; sync
# shutdown -h now
