When receiving the release cause value sent from the called party, the SoftCo does not transparently transmit the release cause value to the calling party. Instead, the SoftCo directly plays the prompt tone and releases the call.
Step 1 Run the show protocol isup command to verify that sendabnormaltone is set to no.
Step 2 If sendabnormaltone is not set to no, run the config protocol isup officeno <string> sendabnormaltone no command to change it accordingly so that the SoftCo transparently transmits the release cause value, instead of playing the prompt tone.
Step 3 The proceeding command takes effect on all the No.7 trunks. For other trunks, whether to play the prompt tone is determined by software parameters. By default, the system plays the prompt tone for other trunks. The following shows a general approach to resolve faults on SIP, PRA, and R2 trunks.
SIP: 278 -- Way of SIPTK errcode indication[1:183(default) 0:errcode]
PRA: 308 -- Way of PRATK errcode indication[1:183(default) 0:errcode]
R2: 310 -- Way of R2TK errcode indication[1:183(default) 0:errcode]
Step 4 If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
The possible causes are as follows:
1. The network is faulty.
2. Data configurations are incorrect.
