Issue Description
How Do I Make an Index File for USB-based Deployment?
Solution
Before using a USB flash drive to configure the router, check whether the index file of the USB flash drive exists. You can edit the index file to perform deployment.

To edit the index file on the PC, perform the following operations:
  1. Create a text file.
  2. Edit the index file.
  3. Save the .txt file as USB_AR.ini.
  4. Copy the USB_AR.ini file to the root directory of the USB flash drive.
In versions earlier than V200R005C00, the format of the index file for USB-based deployment is as follows:

BEGIN AR
[USB CONFIG]
SN=
EMS_ONLINE_STATE=
[UPGRADE INFO]
OPTION=
AUTOFLAG=
PASSWORD=
DEVICENUM=
[DEVICEn DESCRIPTION]
OPTION=
ESN=
MAC=
VERSION=
DIRECTORY=
FILENUM=
TYPEn=
FILENAMEn=
END AR

In V200R005C00 and later versions, the format of the index file for USB-based deployment is as follows:

BEGIN AR
[USB CONFIG]
SN=
EMS_ONLINE_STATE=
[UPGRADE INFO]
OPTION=
DEVICENUM=
[DEVICEn DESCRIPTION]
OPTION=
ESN=
MAC=
VERSION=
DIRECTORY=
FILENUM=
TYPEn=
FILENAMEn=
HMACn=
END AR
