FAQ-Alarm-Triggered Live Video Playing on the eSpace IVS C/S Client or a Video Wall Automatically Stops After the Alarm Is Cleared

Issue Description
You have configured alarm linkage to live video playing on the eSpace IVS C/S client or a video wall. After a camera generates an alarm, the system plays live video from the camera on the eSpace IVS C/S client or the video wall. When the alarm is cleared, the live video playing automatically stops.
Solution
Step 1 Log in to the OMU portal of the server.

Step 2 Choose Local Configuration > Basic Configuration and check the Current version parameter.
  • If the value of Current version is a version earlier than SPC121, upgrade the version to SPC121 or later and go to the next step.
  • If the value of Current version is SPC121 or later, go to the next step.
Step 3 Choose Maintenance > Unified Configuration and select the local domain from System Domains.

Step 4 Set Module name to SMU and Parameter type to System property. Then click Search.
             The page shown in Figure 1-1 is displayed.

Step 5 Click Edit corresponding to the parameter name AutoStopAlarmLinkageLive and set Value to false.

Step 6 Check whether the system automatically stops playing alarm-triggered live video on the eSpace client or a video wall after the alarm is cleared.
             If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
