Which IP Addresses Are Used to Send Gratuitous ARP Packets When the Link Layer of the Interface Is Up?
Solution
The following IP addresses are used to send gratuitous ARP packets:
  • Primary and secondary IP addresses of interfaces and their subinterfaces
  • Virtual IP address of the VRRP group in master state
  • Global IP address of the NAT server, which resides on the same network segment as the IP addresses of interfaces (including the primary and secondary IP addresses of interfaces and their subinterfaces)
  • IP addresses in the NAT address pool, which is referenced by the interzone and resides on the same network segment as the IP addresses of interfaces
