Issue Description
Application Scope:

All FusionCompute versions

An office attempted to install FusionCompute by mounting the ISO to the virtual CD-ROM drive. The installation failed, and the following information was displayed (according to the office administrator, a CD-ROM existed in the CD-ROM drive of the server):

/mnt/miniOS/cfg/all is not exist
Load config file error.
Load install directory error.
Handling Process
Method 1:
Remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive and then install the FusionCompute.

Method 2:
If RAID is configured for the hard disks, you can modify the BIOS settings to complete the installation. The following procedure uses Huawei RH2285 V2 server as an example:
Restart the server, and press Ctrl+Alt+1 to enter the BIOS advanced options page.

Select IDE Configuration, and press Enter. Then, change the value of IDE Controller to Disabled, as shown in Figure 1-2.

Press F10 to save the settings and exit. Then, reinstall the FusionCompute.
Root Cause
If the FusionCompute is installed in CD-ROM mode, files in CD-ROMs are read. By default, files are read from the first CD-ROM.

In this environment, a CD-ROM existed in the physical CD-ROM drive, and the FusionCompute ISO was mounted to the virtual CD-ROM drive. Therefore, two CD-ROMs are identified during the installation, as shown in Figure 1-1.

Figure 1-1 Drive

In Figure 1-1, the first CD-ROM /dev/sr0 is in the physical DVD-ROM drive, and the second CD-ROM /dev/sr1 is in the virtual CD-ROM drive. During the FusionCompute installation, files from /dev/sr0 were read first. As a result, the FusionCompute installation files could not be read, causing the installation failure.
When installing the FusionCompute, do not use the physical and virtual CD-ROM drives at the same time.
