Issue Description
How can I change the HBA failover and failback duration during path switchover?

Solution
The default HBA failover and failback duration is 60 seconds during path switchover. You can perform the following to change the duration:

On the Windows operating system

On the UltraPath management interface, choose configuration > pathverify to set the failback duration. However, you are advised to maintain the default value for the failback duration is short.

On the Red Hat operating system

1.  Find the /etc/modprobe.conf file, and add this line into the file: options lpfc lpfc_nodev_tmo=time. where time is the duration to be set. For example, if you want to set failover and failback duration to 30 seconds, the line is options lpfc lpfc_nodev_tmo=30.

2.  Restart the host.

On the SUSE operating system

1.  Find the /etc/modprobe.conf.local file, and add this line into the file: options lpfc lpfc_nodev_tmo=time, where time is the duration to be set. For example, if you want to set failover and failback duration to 30 seconds, the line is options lpfc lpfc_nodev_tmo=30.

2.  Restart the host.
