Do I need to change the Fibre Channel port mode when configuring the VTL6000 All In One?
Solution
Product and version: VTL6000 V100R003C02

If you configure the VTL6000 All In One using an automatic deployment script, the port mode adapts itself to the application environment. Therefore, you do not need to change the Fibre Channel port mode manually.

If you are not using an automatic deployment script, check whether the current Fibre Channel port mode matches that of the connected devices. If they mismatch, change the port mode.
