FAQ-What Can I Do If the Video Freezes or Has Artifacts

Issue Description
After I enabled the 3G network, the video quality was diminished by frame freezing and artifact issues. What can I do?
Solution
In the lower right corner of the remote controlled UI, check the 3G network signal strength. If the signal strength is weak, move the endpoint to an area with strong network signals.

or : The network signal strength is very weak.
or : The network signal strength is acceptable.
: The network signal strength is strong.

During a conference, check the packet loss using either of the following methods:
  • From the remote controlled UI, choose Diagnostics > Status > Call Status.
  • From the web interface, choose Maintenance > System Status > Call Status.
On the Call Status screen or page, check the values of Video packet loss rate, Presentation packet loss rate, and Audio packet loss rate.

If the values are all 0%, the network conditions are good. If any of the values are not 0%, move the endpoint to an area with strong network signals.
