Telepresence Host Upgrade Failure

Issue Description
After the telepresence host is upgraded using the upgrade tool, "Failed" is displayed on the upgrade tool, and the telepresence host cannot restart.
Handling Process
NOTE:
    Before performing the following steps, set DIP switch 3 to ON and power on the telepresence host.

Step 1 Run the Ping command to check the network communication between the computer used for the upgrade and the telepresence host, as shown in the Figure 5-1.

If the computer fails to communicate with the telepresence host, ensure that the IP addresses of the computer and telepresence host are in the 192.168.1.X network segment.

Step 2 Telnet to the telepresence host by running telnet telepresence host IP address, for example, telnet 172.16.21.10 and using the user name and password debug. Then run main upgopen on.

Step 3 Perform the upgrade.

1. Open the upgrade tool, as shown in Figure 5-2.

2. Set the upgrade parameters:

 Upgrade File: Select the telepresence host's system file TP_HOST.dat.
 Product Type: Select TP3206.
 Remote Terminal IP Address: Enter the bootrom system IP address of the telepresence host, which is 192.168.1.1.

Step 4 Click Upgrade. When prompted, enter the upgrade password api.

In Figure 5-3, the upgrade is in progress.

If the upgrade succeeds, the dialog box shown in Figure 5-4 is displayed.

Step 5 Set DIP switch 1 on the telepresence host to off.

The telepresence host restarts to reload the normal system. The telepresence host IP address is restored to the one before the telepresence host is upgraded.
Root Cause
An error occurs during the upgrade.
