Issue Description
The S5700 fails to be added to eSight V300R003C00SPC100.

2. The SNMP parameter settings on the S5700 are as follows:

snmp-agent
snmp-agent local-engineid 800007DB0310478031BBD0
snmp-agent mib-view included view_all iso
snmp-agent community read cipher %$%$Ap)rC]a;m!UFGNE"bF{8<dv%kHdDVGNn|=0929MV^EbLdv(<H+Y<Wr'9R.`#V#!*jv:Xv1<d%$%$ mib-view view_all

snmp-agent sys-info version all
Handling Process
1. Check that the SNMP parameter settings on the S5700 are the same as those on eSight.

2. Check the network connectivity.

The IP address of the S5700 is 192.168.108.201, and the IP address of the eSight server is 192.168.101.190.

The switch can successfully ping eSight.

[S5700] ping 192.168.101.190
PING 192.168.101.190: 56  data bytes, press CTRL_C to break
    Reply from 192.168.101.190: bytes=56 Sequence=1 ttl=127 time=4 ms

    5 packet(s) transmitted
    5 packet(s) received
    0.00% packet loss
    round-trip min/avg/max = 2/2/4 ms
eSight can successfully ping the switch.
C:\Users\Administrator>ping 192.168.108.201

    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms

Note that the eSight login IP address is 192.168.56.1.

3. Ping from the switch to 192.168.56.1 fails.

[S5700]ping 192.168.56.1
PING 192.168.56.1: 56  data bytes, press CTRL_C to break
    Request time out

    100.00% packet loss

4. 192.168.56.1 is the IP address of the network adapter virtualized by the enterprise network simulation platform (eNSP) software. The network between the switch and this IP address is disconnected. However, this virtualized network adapter is selected during the eSight installation. Attempt to use the IP address change tool to modify the eSight login IP address. However, the IP address modification fails on the eSight Console. In this case, you need to re-install eSight and select the network adapter that can normally communicate with the external network. After eSight is re-installed, add the switch to eSight again. The problem is solved.
Root Cause
If you select a network adapter that is disconnected from the external network during eSight installation, device addition will fail. Re-install eSight and select the correct network adapter to solve the problem.
Suggestions
When the eSight server provides multiple network adapters, you must select a correct network adapter during the eSight installation. Otherwise, device addition will fail due to network disconnection.
