Issue Description
Default BootROM password restoration on S series switch
Solution

"For S series switches except S1700 switches, you can use any of the following methods to restore the BootROM password:
1. For V200R001 and later versions, run the reset boot password command in the user view to reset the BootROM password to the default.
By default:
For fixed switches running a version earlier than V100R006C03, the default BootROM password is huawei; for fixed switches running V100R006C03 or a later version, the default BootROM password is Admin@huawei.com.
For S7700&S9700&S12700&S9300 switches running V100R006C00 or an earlier version, the default BootROM password is 9300; for S7700&S9700&S12700&S9300 switches running a version later than V100R006C00, the default BootROM password is Admin@huawei.com.
2. For switches running V200R007 or a later version, choose Enter password submenu in the BootROM menu to access the password submenu. Choose Reset BootROM password in the password submenu to restore the default BootROM password.
3. For modular switches with dual main processing units (MPUs):
a. If the software version is V200R005 or later, run the reset boot password command to restore the default BootROM password on both the master and slave MPUs.
b. If the software version is V200R003 or earlier, run the reset boot password command to restore the default BootROM password on only the master MPU. Then perform a master/slave MPU switchover, and run the reset boot password command to restore the default BootROM password on the original slave MPU. You are recommended to perform a master/slave MPU switchover during off-peak hours.

To delete the console port login password in the BootROM menu, see How to delete the console port login password on S series switches.
