Configuring the Time Interval to Update Client Clock and Maximum NTP Synchronization Distance Threshold
If the server clock changes or multiple NTP servers are available, the client clock, updated at a specified interval, must keep synchronization with the server that is located within the maximum synchronization distance threshold.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run ntp-service sync-interval interval
The time interval to update the client clock is configured.
The value ranges from 180 to 600, in seconds.
- Run ntp-service max-distance max-distance-value
The maximum NTP synchronization distance threshold is configured.
- Run commit
The configuration is committed.
