Disk Utilities

On the Disk Utilities screen, you can view the hard drive list, format hard drives, and turn on hard drive indicators.

Screen Introduction

On the Configuration Utility main screen as shown in Figure 11-29, select Disk Utilities. The hard drive list is displayed.

Select the hard drive to be operated and press Enter. The hard drive operation screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 11-110. Table 11-35 describes the parameters displayed on the screen.

Blink LED

Turns on hard drive indicators.

Erase Disk

Formats a hard drive. It takes a long time because all data on the hard drive will be deleted.

Turn on the indicator.

  1. Select Blink LED and press Enter.

    The LED operation list is displayed.

    • Continue: Turn on the indicator for locating the server.
    • Stop: Turn off the indicator.

  2. Select Continue and press Enter.

Format a hard drive.

  1. Select Erase Disk.

    The operation confirmation screen is displayed.

  2. Select Continue and press Enter.

    The system displays a message indicating that the formatting starts.
