Indicates the ID of the physical drive.


Indicates the status of the physical drive.


Indicates the version of the physical drive.

Device Type

Indicates the device type.

SAS Address

Indicates the SAS address of the physical drive.

Disk Cache Setting

Indicates the caching enablement status of the physical drive.


Indicates the capacity of the physical drive.

Disk Protocol

Indicates the physical drive type.

Serial Number of Disk

Indicates the serial number of the physical drive.

Hardware Vendor

Indicates the vendor of the physical drive.

Model Number

Indicates the model number of the physical drive.

Hard Disk Drive RPM

Indicates the rotation speed of the physical drive.

Neg. Disk Transfer Speed

Indicates the transmission rate of the physical drive.

View More Physical Disk Properties

Indicates more properties of the physical drive.

SMART Status

Indicates the SMART detection result.


Specifies whether the physical drive is a hot spare drive.

Associated Virtual Disk

Indicates the virtual drive to which the physical drive belongs.

Locating a Hard Drive

  1. Use ↑ and ↓ to select Select Physical Disk and press Enter.
  2. Select a physical drive and press Enter.
  3. Use ↑ and ↓ to select Start Locate / Blink and press Enter.
