The method of logging in to the Configuration Utility in EFI mode varies with the BIOS platform.

This section describes how to log in to the LSI SAS2308 Configuration Utility in EFI mode on the Romley platform.

Impact on the System

Before accessing the Configuration Utility, you need to restart the server, which will interrupt services on the server.



You have logged in to the real-time desktop through the remote virtual console of the management software (iMana 200 or iBMC).


Data preparation is not required for this operation.


  1. During the restart process, press F11 when information shown in Figure A-2 is displayed.

  2. Type the password and press Enter.

    The screen is displayed in Figure A-3.

    Boot information about various servers may be different. Go to the Boot Manager screen as prompted.

    The default password for logging in to the BIOS Setup screen is Huawei12#$.

  3. Press Esc.

    The manager list is displayed, as shown in Figure A-4.

  4. Select Device Manager and press Enter.

    The Device Manager screen is displayed, as shown in Figure A-5.

    The displayed information varies with the RAID controller card.
