Controller Configuration

On the Controller Configuration screen, you can query RAID controller card configurations.

Screen Introduction

On the configuration screen as shown in Figure 11-29, select Controller Configuration. The Controller Configuration screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 11-99. Table 11-27 describes the parameters displayed on the screen.

Queries and manages RAID controller card properties.

Clear Controller Configuration

Deletes RAID configurations.

Controller Properties

On the Controller Properties screen, you can query and change port mode properties of RAID controller cards.

Screen Introduction

On the screen shown in Figure 11-104, select Controller Properties. The controller property screen is displayed.

Change the port mode of a RAID controller card.

  1. Select the port for which the mode is to be changed and press Enter.

    The parameter option list is displayed.

    • RAID: Hard drives in this RAID controller card can be used only after arrays are created for the hard drives.
    • MIXD: Both RAID and HBA modes are supported.
    • HBA: No array can be created for hard drives under this RAID controller card.

  2. Select a target value and press Enter.
  3. Select SUBMIT and press Enter.

Clear Controller Configuration

On the Clear Controller Configuration screen, you can delete controller card configurations.

Screen Introduction

Select Clear Controller Configuration from Figure 11-104. The Clear Controller Configuration screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 11-101. Table 11-28 describes the parameters displayed on the screen.

Deletes RIS information from all hard drives.

Delete all arrays.

  1. Select Delete All Arrays and press Enter.

    A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select CLEAR CONFIG SUBMIT and press Enter.

Delete RIS from all hard drives.

  1. Select Clear RIS On Drives and press Enter.

    A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select CLEAR CONFIG SUBMIT and press Enter.
