Supercapacitor Fault


When a supercapacitor fault occurs, the server read/write speed greatly decreases.


  1. Restart the server and check the supercapacitor status displayed during the server restart.

    Figure 10-148 shows the supercapacitor status. Perform operations based on supercapacitor states:

    • Ready: The supercapacitor is operating properly.
    • Not Ready: The supercapacitor is not installed. Install a supercapacitor.
    • Preparing: The supercapacitor is being charged. Wait for 15 minutes and then perform operations on the controller card.

  2. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.
