Checking the Switching Plane

Scenarios

Check the operating status of the 10GE switching plane of the CX910. Ensure that the service planes meet the basic requirements for data configuration.

Prerequisites

Software

PuTTY.exe is free software. You can download it from the Internet. The PuTTY used to log in over a serial port must be 0.60 or later.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the CLI of the 10GE switching plane.
  2. Run the following command on the 10GE switching plane CLI to check the current version of the 10GE switching plane:

    <Fabric> display version

    The command output is as follows:

    The value of PCB Version is the hardware version of the current plane. The value of Switch Version is the software version of the current plane.

  3. View the mapping of ports on the 10GE switching plane.
