Adding Users

Adding Users

This topic describes how to add a user and grant operation permission to the user.

You can add users on the switching plane of the CX913. Then the new user can log in to the command-line interface (CLI) of the switching plane to carry out routine maintenance.

A maximum of 550 local users can be configured on the 10GE switching plane of the CX913. The local users are classified as follows:

  • Administrators: have the permissions to query and set information.
  • Operators: have the permission to query information.
  • Common users: have the permission to check information.

You have logged in to the CLI of the 10GE switching plane.

Table 4-10 lists the data to be prepared.
