Default Information of Switch Modules

The default information of switch modules is as follows:

  • The default information of the CX110, CX111, CX310, CX710, and CX920 is listed in Table 5-5. These switch modules do not support FCoE gateways or FC switching planes.
  • The default information of the CX210 and CX220 is listed in Table 5-5. These switch modules do not support BIOS Setup menus or Ethernet switching planes.
  • For the CX910, CX911, CX912, and CX913 whose software version is V100R001C00 or V100R001C00SPCxxx at the Support > Intelligent Servers > Blade Servers > E9000 Chassis, the default information is listed in Table 5-4. The CX910 and CX913 do not support FCoE gateways or FC switching planes.
  • For the CX910, CX911, CX912, and CX913 whose software version is V100R001C10 or V100R001C10SPCxxx at the Support > Intelligent Servers > Blade Servers > E9000 Chassis, the default information is listed in Table 5-5. The CX910 and CX913 do not support FCoE gateways or FC switching planes.
  • The default information of the CX311, CX312, and CX915 is listed in Table 5-5.

A switch module has a virtual serial port COM1. This port is used by the built-in software system to manage the switch module. Note the following about this virtual serial port:

  • Do not log in to this virtual serial port.
  • The default password is Huawei#123.
  • Do not set or change the password of this serial port. Otherwise, some switch module functions fail.
  • If the password is changed, run the undo authentication-mode or undo set authentication password command to delete the new password.
