Alarm message:

Limit exceeded

The alarm is generated when the Cert certificate has expired.

This alarm is generated by the following sensor:

Impact on the System

Related functions will be unavailable, which will cause security or functional issues.

Possible Causes

  • The certificate reaches the expiration date.
  • The system time is abnormal.


  1. Check whether the server system time is correct.

    • If yes, go to 3.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Restore the correct system time. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. On HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Account Management > Two-Factor Authentication and check whether the user certificates have expired.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 5.

  4. Replace the expired user certificates with valid certificates. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support.
