This alarm is generated when the power supply to the chassis is insufficient.

Impact on the System

The server cannot operate properly.

Possible Causes

Power supply to the entire chassis is insufficient.


  1. Check whether any PSU alarm exists.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 3.

  2. Handle the PSU alarm by referring to the alarm handling suggestion. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Check whether the PSUs meet the power consumption requirements of the entire chassis.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 5.

  4. If the PSUs are not fully configured, install more PSUs. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support..
