Power supply to PIC card arg1 failed or timed out.

This alarm is generated when the PIC card is power off unexpectedly or the power-on of the PIC card timed out.

Impact on the System

The PIC power supply fault causes the PIC ports to fail (go down) or generate incorrect packets, affecting services.

Possible Causes

The PIC is faulty.


  1. Replace the PIC card. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  3. Contact Huawei technical support.
