This alarm is generated when the compute node removal alarm is enabled and one node is removed.

This alarm is generated by the following sensors:

Removal of a compute node interrupts services.

Possible Causes

The compute node is removed or poorly connected with the chassis backplane.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the compute node for which an alarm is generated is removed.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 3.

  2. Insert the compute node. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Remove and re-insert the compute node. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. Replace the compute node. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support.
