This alarm is generated when the Fibre Channel (FC) or Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) configurations of the switch Module are different.

This alarm is generated by the following sensor:

Impact on the System

The FC or FCoE of the switch Module is not available and services cannot operate properly.

Possible Causes

  • Two switch Modules with different FC or FCoE configurations are installed in slots 2X and 3X.
  • Two switch Modules with different FC or FCoE configurations are installed in slots 1E and 4E.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the switch modules in slots 2X and 3X are the same.

    • If yes, go to 3.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Replace a switch module so that the two switch modules are the same. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Check whether the switch modules in slots 1E and 4E are the same.

    • If yes, go to 5.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. Replace a switch module so that the two switch modules are the same. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support.
