This alarm is generated when a sensor detects that a major alarm is generated for the LAN switch (LSW) chip of the management module.

The MM910 network may operate abnormally.

Possible Causes

The management module is faulty.

Procedure

  1. On the CLI of the faulty HMM, run the smmget -d redundancy command to check whether the running status is active.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 3.

  2. Run the smmset -d failover -v 1 command to perform an active/standby switchover. Then go to 3.
  3. Run the reboot command to restart the HMM. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  5. Contact Huawei technical support.
