This alarm is generated when the CPLD of the switch module is abnormal.

Impact on the System

The functions of components are affected.

Possible Causes

  • The switch module is faulty.
  • The CPLD version is too early.


  1. Check whether the CPLD version in the iMana 200 version information is earlier than 013.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 3.

  2. When the switch module is not running services, upgrade the CPLD version to 013 or later. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    For details, see this upgrade guide.
    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Replace the switch module. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  5. Contact Huawei technical support.
