MM2 off-line

This alarm is generated when an HMM detects that the other HMM is reset.

This alarm is generated by the following sensors:

MM heartbeat


Alarm ID

Alarm Severity

Auto Clear




Impact on the System

No standby HMM is available until the reset is complete.

Possible Causes

  • The other HMM is reset.
  • The synchronization port fails.
  • Communication with the other HMM is lost.


  1. Check the other HMM exists.

    • If yes, go to 3.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Insert the HMM and Wait for 5 minutes. Then check whether the HMM reset alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Check whether the 2700FFFF alarm exists.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 5.

  4. Clear the 2700FFFF alarm. Then check whether the alarm is automatically cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support.
