Querying the Trap OID Through an Alarm ID

This section describes only SNMP trap alarms. You can determine the mapping between alarm IDs and trap OIDs.

  1. Log in to the switch module CLI.
  2. Run the display alarm active command to query the current alarm.

  3. Record the alarm generation time and description.
  4. Run the display trapbuffer command to query log information.

  5. In the command output, find trap information of the recorded time and the description, and then record the corresponding OID.
  6. Use the OID to query the alarm handling method.
