  • Cause 1: The configured stack system MAC address is not the factory MAC address of any member device.
    1. Run the display system mac-address command in the stack to check the configured stack system MAC address and factory MAC addresses of all member devices.
  • If no MAC address conflict occurs, you can run the set system mac-address inconsistence-alarm off command in the stack management view to disable the alarm function.
  • If a MAC address conflict occurs, you can run the undo set system mac-address command in the stack management view to delete the configured stack system MAC address and then run the set system mac-address switch-delay immediately command to change the stack system MAC address to the MAC address of the current master switch.
  • Cause 2: The stack system MAC address is not the factory MAC address of any member device.
    1. Run the display system mac-address command in the stack to check the stack system MAC address and factory MAC addresses of all member devices.
  • If no MAC address conflict occurs, you can run the set system mac-address inconsistence-alarm off command in the stack management view to disable the alarm function.
  • If a MAC address conflict occurs, you can run the set system mac-address switch-delay immediately command to change the stack system MAC address to the MAC address of the current master switch.
