Logging In to the CX310 BIOS
Scenarios
Log in to the CX310 BIOS through the CX310 serial port.
The BIOS can be accessed only from the switching plane CLI after you log in to the CLI over a serial port.
The BIOS initializes hardware, such as serial ports or dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs), reads the kernel image from the flash memory to the random access memory (RAM), and starts the operating system (OS). In the BIOS, you can load underlying software and debug underlying devices.
