Enabling SR-IOV
- On the Emulex BIOS setting page, select the NIC, FCoE, or iSCSI mode.Figure 4-20 Setting a working mode

- Select Continue and press Enter. The port configuration screen is displayed.Figure 4-22 Opening the screen for configuring ports
- Select Port0 or Port1, and press Enter. The Port Selection Menu screen is displayed.Figure 4-23 Selecting a port
- Enable SR-IOV.
Figure 4-24 shows how to enable SR-IOV in NIC mode when UMC is disabled.
SR-IOV can be enabled only when UMC is disabled.
Figure 4-25 shows how to enable SR-IOV in FCoE mode. In FCoE mode, the NIC function supports SR-IOV, while the FCoE function does not support SR-IOV.

The SR-IOV setting will be reset to Disabled after the MZ510 firmware is updated to 11.1.245.42 or later. Set SR-IOV to Enabled for the NIC port.
