Memory Configuration

This topic describes how to configure memory on the Memory Configuration screen.

On the Memory Configuration screen, you can configure memory, including the memory speed and memory lockstep mode. Table 5-19 describes the parameters on the Memory Configuration screen of Haswell. Figure 5-22 shows the screen.

Indicates the DIMM information about the DIMM 0 on channel 0 of CPU1. If no DIMM is installed, "NOT PRESENT" is displayed. If a DIMM is installed, the memory capacity is displayed.

The displayed information varies according to the DIMM configuration.

  • In single-system mode, the memory riser information is MemBoard1 to MemBoard16.
  • In dual-system mode, the memory riser information for system A is MemBoard1 to MemBoard8.
  • In dual-system mode, the memory riser information for system B is MemBoard9 to MemBoard16.
