Changing the iMana 200 User Password


Change an iMana 200 user password for the server.



You have logged in to the iMana 200 WebUI over a network port. For details, see Logging In to the iMana 200 WebUI.


Table 7-4 lists the default user name and password of the iMana 200.

The default user of the iMana 200 belongs to the administrator group and has full rights to access all iMana 200 resources and perform all operations.


  1. In the navigation tree, choose Configuration > User. In the right pane, click the Local User tab.

    The Local User page is displayed, as shown in Figure 7-10.


    Select Enable Password Complexity, and click OK under Basic Properties.

  2. Click next to the user (for example root) whose password needs to be changed.

    The Modify User Information dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 7-11.

  3. Select Change Password. Set New Password and Confirm Password, and click OK.
