Removing a DC PSU

  1. Power off the server. For details, see Powering On and Off the RH5885 V3.
  2. Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see Safety Instructions.
  3. Insert a screwdriver into the square hole above a power cable and remove the cable from the square hole. See Figure 5-21.

  4. Repeat Removing a DC PSU to remove all the other power cables from the PSU.
  5. Hold down the release button, and hold the handle to pull out part of the PSU. See step (1) in Figure 5-22.

  6. Release the release button, and remove the PSU from the slot. See step (2) in Figure 5-22.
  7. Place the removed PSU into an ESD bag.
