When a customer attempts to use the KVM to access the remote virtual console of the KunLun 9008, an exception occurs.

Key Process and Cause Analysis

Check the environment configuration according to the CMC user guide.

The following operations are performed on-site:

  1. Check the browser version.

    The browser is Internet Explorer 11 and meets the requirement.

    Clear the browser cache, and restart the browser. The problem persists.

  2. Check the OS version.

    The OS is Windows 7 64-bit and meets the requirement.

  3. Check the Java version.

    The Java version 1.8.0, and meets the requirement.

    Add an exception site list on Java. The problem persists.

Management software engineers suspect that the Java version is a 64-bit version. Use the following methods to check the Java version:

  1. Method 1: Choose Program > Java > View. The Java version is 1.8.0_45 (note the last two digits).
  2. Method 2: Open cmd.exe, and run the java -version command.

Conclusion and Solution

The version numbers of Java 32-bit and Java 64-bit are different. Check the Java version number by using to the preceding methods.
