After FusionSphere 6.1 is installed on two KunLun 9008 servers by using PXE, the incorrect management IP address is displayed on FusionCompute. The management IP address of the KunLun servers has been changed to 10.0.X.X. However, the default floating IP address is displayed on FusionCompute.

FusionSphere R&D engineers confirm that FusionCompute uses the IPMI command on FusionSphere to obtain the IP address. Log in to FusionSphere of the KunLun server, and run the ipmitool lan print command. The displayed IP address is

Conclusion and Solution

In versions earlier than C30, the ipmitool lan print command cannot be used to obtain the CMC IP address. To use the ipmitool lan print command, upgrade the software version to C30 or later.
