Each user name is unique. If any user name is repeated, the system displays an error message.

  1. Log in to the iMana command-line interface (CLI).
  2. Run the userlist command to query the user names and permission of all existing users.

    root@BMC:/#ipmcget -d userlist

    2       root              ADMINISTRATOR
    3                         NO ACCESS
    4                         NO ACCESS
    5                         NO ACCESS

  3. Run the adduser command to add a new user and set the user password.

  4. Run the privilege command to set the user permission.

    root@BMC:/#ipmcset -d privilege -v test 4
    Input your password:****
    Set user privilege successfully.

  5. Query the setting information about the new user in the user list.
