Perform the following steps:

Set the temporary boot device:

  1. Log in to the CMC WebUI, choose Partition Management > KPAR, and set Boot Option to BIOS Setup.

  2. Enter the password when prompted to access the BIOS screen.

Configure a RAID 10 array:

Access the Create Virtual Drive screen.

  1. Choose Main Menu and press Enter.
  2. Choose Configuration Management and press Enter.
  3. Choose Create Virtual Drive and press Enter. The RAID configuration screen is displayed.
  4. Set Select RAID Level to RAID 10. The SELECT SPAN(S) options are displayed.

  5. In this example, the RAID 10 array consists of 4 hard disks. Create two spans, and select two hard disks for each span. Choose Add More Spans to add a span.
    NOTE:

    At least two spans are required for the RAID 10 array. Otherwise, the RAID array creation fails. You can configure maximum of eight spans in the RAID 10 array, and each span supports a maximum of 32 hard disks. The number of hard disks in each span must be an even number.

  6. Choose Select Drives to configure two hard disks for each span. Set Select Media Type to HDD. If no hard disk is displayed, set the Select Media Type to SSD and check whether the hard disks are displayed. In hard disk list, select the span member disks, set Disable to Enable, and choose Apply Changes to save the span configuration.

  7. After the hard disks of the two spans are selected, choose Save Configuration and confirm. The RAID 10 array is created.
