Log In to the Device Management Software

On the device management software, you can check the operating status of storage nodes and ensure that no alarm is generated.


The fault information is automatically recorded and saved during the system runtime. You can set search conditions on the device management software to find the desired fault information and then export it.


  1. Start the device by pressing the power button.
  2. Open the Internet Explorer on the installation server, and type, where the indicates the IPMI management network port IP address. Press Enter.
  3. In the dialog box that is displayed, select a language. This document uses English as an example. Enter the user name and password, and then click Login.


    By default, the user name is admin, and the initial password is Admin@storage. Change the initial password upon your first login. For details about how to change the password, see DeviceManager Online Help.

Follow-up Procedure

You can check the operating status of storage nodes and manage the storage nodes on the device management software.
