Viewing Basic Information About a LUN Copy

This operation enables you to view the information about LUN copies.


At least one LUN copy has been created on the storage system.


  1. Go to the LUN copy information page.
    1. On the right navigation bar, click .
    2. In the function pane on the left, click LUN Copy.
  2. View information about a LUN copy. Table 3-6 describes related parameters.

    Name of the LUN copy.

    [Value range]

    • The name must be unique.
    • The name can contain only letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
    • The name contains 1 to 31 characters.




    ID of the LUN copy.



    Health Status

    Indicates whether a LUN copy is normal. The value can be one of the following:

    • Normal: The functions and running performance of the LUN are normal.
    • Fault: Part of or all functions of the LUN copy are degraded or have stopped working. The faults cannot be rectified.



    Running Status

    Indicates whether a LUN copy is working properly. The value can be one of the following:

    • Not start: The LUN copy has been created and is not started.
    • Copying: Data on the source LUN is being copied to the target LUN.
    • Queuing: The LUN copy is queuing. This state indicates that the current LUN copy tasks have outnumbered the allowed maximum LUN copy tasks.
    • Paused The LUN copy is suspended. After it is resumed, data will continue to be copied from the source LUN to the target LUN.
    • Stopped: The LUN copy is stopped. To copy the source LUN data, the LUN copy needs to be started over.
    • Completed: Data on the source LUN has been completely copied to the target LUN.



    Source LUN Name

    Name of the source LUN.



    Source LUN ID

    ID of the source LUN.




    WWN of the LUN.




    WWPN of the Fibre Channel port.



    Source LUN Capacity

    Capacity of the source LUN.


    1 GB

    Source Device Name

    Name of the storage device to which the LUN belongs.



    Source Device ID

    ID of the storage device to which the source LUN belongs.



    Copy Speed

    Rate of the LUN copy, which can be Low, Medium, High, or Highest.



    Started At

    Time when the LUN copy was started.


    2012-01-15 20:31:32 UTC+08:00

    Ended At

    Time when the LUN copy was completed.


    2012-01-15 20:48:32 UTC+08:00


    Progress of the LUN copy.
