Stopping a LUN Copy

Stopping a LUN Copy

This operation enables you to stop a LUN copy. If you stop an ongoing or suspended LUN copy, data inconsistency will occur between the source LUN and target LUN.


  • The Health Status of the LUN copy that you want to stop is Normal.
  • The Running Status of the LUN copy that you want to stop is Copying, Queuing, or Paused.


If the Running Status of the LUN copy is Copying, Paused, or Queuing, data of the source LUN will be inconsistent with that of the target LUN.


  1. Go to the LUN copy management page.
    1. On the navigation bar, click .
    2. In the function pane on the left, click LUN Copy.

      The LUN copy management page is displayed.

  2. Stop a LUN copy.
    1. Select the LUN copy that you want to stop, and choose More > Stop on the menu bar.

      The security alert dialog box is displayed.

      You can also right-click the LUN copy that you want to stop, and choose Stop.

    2. Read the content of the dialog box carefully. Then select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation..
    3. Click OK.

      The Success dialog box is displayed indicating the success of the operation.

    4. Click OK.
