This section describes how to check whether a full LUN copy task is successful by verifying the integrity of replicated data.

  1. Check whether the LUN copy task is successful.
    1. Operation path: > LUN Copy.
    2. Select the LUN copy you want to view and check its LUN data status.
      • If the status is Completed, the LUN copy task is successful.
      • If the status is Copying, the LUN copy task is ongoing. Wait until the task is finished.
  2. Map the target LUN to the host.
    1. Create a LUN group, add the target LUN LUN_BK into it.

Operation path: > LUN > LUN Group > Create.

    2. Create a host group, add the host in the target device into it.

Operation path: > Host > Host Group > Create.

    3. Create a mapping view and map the target LUN group of the LUN copy to the host group in the target device.

Operation path: > Mapping View > Create.

  3. Scan for the LUN group on the host. After detecting the target LUN, check whether its data is consistent with the source LUN data.

    • If yes, the LUN copy task has successfully migrated data to the target device.
    • If no, check whether the configuration operations are correct.
