Configuring Real-Time Accounting

Configuring Real-Time Accounting

The real-time accounting function can be configured in either of the following methods:
  • Run the accounting realtime interval command in the AAA accounting scheme view to enable the real-time accounting function and set the real-time accounting interval.
  • Deliver the Acct-Interim-Interval attribute to the users who are successfully authenticated to enable the real-time accounting function and set the real-time accounting interval.

Enabling real-time accounting

The real-time accounting function can be enabled in either of the preceding methods. If both of them are configured, the real-time accounting interval specified by the Acct-Interim-Interval attribute takes effect.

Disabling real-time accounting

To disable the real-time accounting function, the following conditions must be met:
  1. The real-time accounting function has been disabled using the accounting realtime 0 or undo accounting realtime command.
  2. The RADIUS server does not deliver the Acct-Interim-Interval attribute to the users who are successfully authenticated.
  3. If the RADIUS server has delivered the Acct-Interim-Interval attribute to the users who are successfully authenticated, the radius-attribute disable Acct-Interim-Interval receive send command must be executed in the corresponding RADIUS server template to disable the Acct-Interim-Interval attribute.
