Fault Description
The AP upgrade fails.

Fault Analysis
- Web system
Check the cause for the upgrade failure, which is displayed as Failure(The AP is disconnected).
- CLI
Run the display ap update status ap-id ap-id command to check the causes for the upgrade failure.
Procedure (Web System)
- Check causes for the upgrade failure.
- After the AP goes online again, the AP upgrade still fails. Check the cause for the upgrade failure, which is displayed as Failure(The AP type is not matched).
- Check whether the upgrade file name is correct.
Use a text editor tool to open the upgrade file. The AP type displayed at the EFS tail in the upgrade file is not consistent with the upgrade file name.
- After setting the AP type displayed at the EFS tail as the upgrade file name, the AP upgrade succeeds.
Procedure (CLI)
- Check causes for the upgrade failure.
Run the display ap update status ap-id ap-id command to check the causes for the upgrade failure.

The command output shows that the cause for the upgrade failure is link down. Check whether the AP works properly or the network cables are properly connected. After the fault is rectified, the AP goes online again.
- After the AP goes online again, the AP upgrade still fails. Check the cause for the upgrade failure, which is displayed as failed(AP type in the EFS mismatch).

- Check whether the upgrade file name is correct.
